I am a theoretical and computational physicist working on the origin and evolution of the universe. Due to complexity of the problem as a whole, I am also developing algorithms and numerical solutions and testing theoretical models against the latest observations. Currently I am pursuing career opportunities in data science and quantitative finance.
In addition to 4 years of experience as a cosmology researcher, I also have 3 years of professional experience as a researcher in the Department of Forensic Sciences where I was responsible for applying scientific principles and methods to the analysis, identification, and classification of physical evidence in criminal cases. As a education committee member I had contributions to academical, educational and administrative operations/organizations.
I have performed data analysis and visualization for numerous academical projects by employing proper statistical/ML techniques and computational methods. I am fluent in Python, especially in scientific computation and visualization modules such as SciPy, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib and Seaborn and I have familiarity with machine learning models.
After a year of day-trading in derivative markets, I now work as a research and reporting specialist in a fintech company.
