This talk consists of two parts: First, I briefly summarize the FRW cosmology and introduce scalar field models as an alternative to dark energy. In the second part, I demonstrate analysis of inflationary models within the context of GR and alternative theories of gravitation. I also introduce numerical techniques and computational tools to perform the analysis.

This lecture is designed as an introduction to cosmology. Dynamics of the universe is formalized with the power of GR starting from the first principles. Evolution of the universe for various energy/matter content is derived and current status of the universe is discussed in the light of latest observations.

This 1-hour talk serves as a introduction to markup languages, specifically to $\LaTeX$ which is a high-quality typesetting system that includes features designed for the production of technical and scientific documentation. Further, I demonstrate a simple document creation with $\LaTeX$ using TeXMaker in a Linux system.
